Dr. Sharma grew up in the NJ area and knew he wanted to be a dentist from a young age. He is a highly trained general dentist known for delivering precise, high-quality care in a calm and comfortable setting. He offers comprehensive treatment including dental implants, crowns, root canals, and extractions, with a focus on long-term results and attention to detail.
Dr. Sharma earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry and advanced degrees in Oral Biology and Genetics from Rutgers University. His clinical approach combines strong technical expertise with a patient-first mindset, taking the time to explain treatment clearly and ensure every patient feels at ease.
Fluent in Spanish, Hindi, and Punjabi, Dr. Sharma is committed to providing personalized care to every patient he serves.
Dr. Rauaa Romhen
Dr. Rauaa Romhen is a dedicated and general dentist with a DMD from Boston University and extensive experience practicing dentistry for over 10 years. She specializes in restorative care, prosthodontics, endodontics, and patient education. A passionate advocate for oral health, she has volunteered with organizations promoting dental hygiene to children in her community. Dr. Romhen brings a compassionate, multilingual approach to dentistry, ensuring comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Dr. Andy Weisinger
A 3rd generation dentist, Andy grew up in Scotch Plains, NJ. He graduated from Colgate University and earned his DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School and cofounded Franklin Dental in 1990. From day-1, Andy has always been passionate about his work and patients, some are now bringing their grandkids to see him.
Andy lives in Lawrenceville, NJ with his wife Mary Ann and German Shepherd Lola. He has two adult sons, Jake and Dylan. He enjoys live music, sports, and spending time with close friends and family.
Dr. Michael Strassberg
Our periodontist Dr. Michael Strassberg graduated from Boston University with a BA in Art History and received his dental education at Tufts School Of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he earned his DMD degree. He was commissioned as a dental officer in the United States Army Dental Corps, where he served in Germany where he was awarded the US Army Air Defense Artillery Certificate Of Achievement for exceptionally meritorious service. After his honorable discharge he returned to Tufts Dental School where he completed his residency in periodontics in 1987, after which he returned to his home state of New Jersey. He has been practicing periodontics in New Jersey since 1987.
Dr Strassberg takes many continuing education courses to remain current in his specialty. He is skilled in all aspects of periodontics and enjoys developing good relationships with his patients and staff. Dr Strassberg enjoys spending time with his family and dog Casper, as well as exercising, reading, travel and keeping up with friends.
Dr. Bob Goetz
Dr. Bob co-founded the practice in 1990. In early 2024, Bob passed and left us missing him, his huge smile, and warm personality.
Bob graduated from Villanova University in May 1984, and FDU dental school in May 1988. He had been a part of Franklin Dental since day one, Dec 1st, 1990. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing and loved spending time in nature with his two adult sons, Alec and Jackson, and two rescue dogs, Morty and Spooky.
Dr. Saishwari Thakur
Dr. Saishwari (Isha) Thakur earned her D.D.S. from Rutgers University. She completed a clinical residency at Rajiv Gandhi University and was the only student selected for Rutgers’ honorary postgraduate program after completing two years of work in one. She has advanced training in bone grafting, sinus lifts, and implant placement. Dr. Thakur is also certified in Botox, dermal fillers, and Invisalign. A member of the American Dental Implant Association, she has also belonged to the ADA, New Jersey Dental Association, and Middlesex Dental Association since 2007. Dr. Thakur combines the precision of a surgeon with the gentle touch of a caregiver.
Dr. Scott Kim
Dr. Kim is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and has honed his proficiency in a wide range of oral and maxillofacial procedures. He is particularly adept in performing surgeries such as corrective jaw surgery, benign pathology of the face and jaws, wisdom teeth surgery, dental implant placement, bone grafting and sinus augmentation, facial trauma and reconstruction, obstructive sleep apnea, disorders of the temporomandibular joint, and alveolar clefts. His attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort has established him as a sought-after practitioner among both patients and colleagues.
While Dr. Scott practices the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, his focus remains primarily on the ambulatory setting, with an emphasis on dentoalveolar surgery, Full arch dental implants, bone grafting and reconstruction, and benign oral & facial pathology.
